Helen came through the HURST graduate scheme as an auditor following a career as a primary school teacher. Her love of learning has led her to the constantly evolving “digital world” where she works on a variety of projects that aim to increase efficiency in multiple business areas and to provide increased insights by using “real-time” data.
I love my role because...
We believe that everything is possible and have to think creatively to find the most fitting solutions. I’m constantly challenged and constantly learning which means I’m always engaged in what I’m working on. Plus, the digital team has a huge range of skills and works very collaboratively which is definitely my preferred method!
My favourite thing about HURST is...
Did I already mention the digital team?! I’m sure everyone else says the same, but it has to be the people I work with and for. I feel like everyone’s opinion is valued and there’s a great selection of events to get involved with both as an employee, a client and outside of working hours!
Our clients choose HURST because...
Whatever it says on the engagement letter is the absolute beginning of what we offer to our clients. Having different services mean that we can offer expert advice and support on a whole range of areas which we do at all times of the day (and sometimes night!).
When I imagine HURST in 2031...
Still strongly independent with a fantastic collection of employees and clients. Obviously we’ll be fully digitalised and staying at the forefront of technological advances! (A swanky office and a beer fridge on a Friday afternoon wouldn’t go amiss either!)
