Aaron Booth
Business Services Manager
I love my role because...
For me it’s the variety of clients and exposure to different industries. We can be working on a small charity one week, then a large corporate the next. This means we’re constantly learning and developing professionally, something which I think gives us an edge in the market and helps us deliver an excellent service whatever we’re doing.
My favourite thing about HURST is...
I know it’s a cliché, but it really is the people. Whilst Hurst has grown significantly in recent years, it has retained its openness and close-knit culture, something which attracted me to Hurst after years of working in large organisations. The business leaders ensure that all employees at all levels feel valued and part of decision making. I also appreciate the opportunities to contribute to Hurst’s efforts to support the wider community and environment through the People and Planet team.
Our clients choose HURST because...
Again, I think this comes down to our people and the service we deliver. We care about our clients and strive to achieve the best outcomes for them, working closely with them throughout the entire process. Due to our size, we are also agile and quick to embrace new technologies and developments in the sector, ultimately leading to a higher quality and more efficient service for clients.
When I imagine HURST in 2031...
Hurst has grown significantly in the five years that I’ve worked here, and the momentum is continuing. I should imagine we will have expanded our presence in the market, both in terms of size and reputation, and will be continuing to deliver an excellent service to an even more diverse client base.
Favourite place for a client coffee...
Coffee Block, an independent coffee house on Merseyway. Part of my role as the ‘Community Ambassador’ at Hurst it to ensure that we engage with and promote local people, businesses, and environment, so it’s important to me that we support independently owned local businesses at every opportunity!
