The much-talked about General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25 May 2018. Despite the press attention on the new Regulation and potential sanctions for non-compliance (of up to the higher of 4% of global turnover or €20m for the most serious breaches), there is a lot of misinformation / fake news in circulation!
This has made it difficult for businesses to know how best to prepare for the changes ahead. Having a clear view of the facts will enable you to adapt current practices and ensure your business is compliant once the GDPR comes into force.
This seminar aims to demystify the GDPR and will be presented by Danielle Amor – Senior Associate at law firm, Pannone Corporate. Danielle is part of the Commercial, Intellectual Property, IT and Data Protection team at Pannone Corporate and can offer great insight into the practical implications of the GDPR for businesses.
